Questions, answered
Quick answers about how Serenity works, what plans include, and how we handle your data.
What is Serenity?+
Serenity is a personal wellness companion for journaling, daily focus, and AI-supported reflection. It helps you process your day and build small, realistic habits — not replace professional care.
Is Serenity a therapist or medical app?+
No. Serenity does not provide medical, psychological, or emergency services. If you are in crisis, call 911 or 988 (U.S.). See our Disclaimers page for more.
How does sign-in work?+
Sign in with Apple, Google, or email. Serenity keeps you logged in — you should not need to sign in every time you open the app. If you forget your password, use the recovery flow on this website.
What's included in the free plan?+
Unlimited journaling, manual daily focus (you add your own items), and up to 15 AI chats per day with Serenity.
Why do paid plans have daily chat limits?+
Each AI conversation uses secure cloud compute that scales with usage. Daily allowances keep Serenity fast and sustainable while giving you room to grow into the plan that fits your rhythm.
Can I use Serenity on Android?+
Android beta is coming. Core features (journal, focus, chat) will work on Samsung and other Android phones. Apple Health sleep sync is iOS-only for now.
How is my data handled?+
Journal and profile data are stored in your Serenity account. AI features send relevant context to generate personalized responses. We do not sell your data. See Privacy for details.
How do I cancel or change my plan?+
Paid plans can be managed from your account page (coming soon) via our secure billing portal. You can downgrade or cancel anytime.
How do I get help or send feedback?+
Visit the Support page or email sohlerjo1@gmail.com with subject "Serenity Support". We read every message during beta.
